JOHNNY MILES MARATHON
June 9, 2002
| ||||||||||||||
Johnny Miles, the namesake of this marathon through the Nova Scotia woods, was a former winner of the Boston Marathon. Tough headwinds buffeted our guy Ken for the first 12 miles. The return trip on the loop course was on a hilly hiking trail in the forest. Ken, whose summer home is 25 miles south of New Glascow, led his family team to first place in the accompanying four person relay. | ||||||||||||||
