CHILLY WILLY DUATHLON                           February 11, 2007
Ft DeSoto Park     St Petersburg, Florida     (5, 16, 5KM)

RunBikeRun on a chilly morning. Kit uses regular bike pedals in lieu of the more efficient clip-in systems. Duncan borrowed his son's bike with clip-in pedals but did not use the shoes ... not exactly efficient, but he got through it!
Top three in each age group were shown in the results. If we missed you, please provide your time so we can include you in our results.
Ages shown are as of 12/31/07 per USAT rules.

BANK OF AMERICA GASPARILLA 15KM
Tampa, Florida                                                       February 17, 2007

Cool, Clear and almost no wind along Bayshore Boulevard. Near perfect race conditions ... perfect, except that the prerace 40 degree cold that caused most participants to wrap up in their winter running wardrobes. The road became littered with discarded gloves and clothes as the sun came out and the act of running heated things up.
The separate women's' starting line was eliminated this year.
Melanie was second woman and earned $1500 for her fine effort.
David's recent return to the Sunday long run at Demen's Landing seems to have paid off – ah youth!
There were 2,024 male, and 1,556 female finishers.
